I’m pretty sure everyone will agree with what I am going to say. Chelsea have clearly dominated the first half as the possession stats show but however Aston Villa are the ones with the lead at the end of the First Half. We saw how Aston Villa were struggling to get the ball of Chelsea and when they do get it they ended up losing it. Chelsea movement of the ball was crips and don’t get me wrong I did enjoy how the manage to move the ball nicely. However what I realised is that they kept playing the ball on the right, giving the ball to Willian who would ever make run, crosses or shoot hoping for a goal. Willian does stands out from the Chelsea side. I though that Aston Villa has zero interest on contesting this and with the way Chelsea was playing I though Chelsea were going to win. However you got to give credit to Aston Villa and award how they took their chances when it mattered and as the title says they ended up snatching the goal at the end of the first half. Kortney Hause pokes the ball home against the run of play to give Villa a huge boost in their relegation battle. The question is can Aston Villa hold on? Does Chelsea need Tammy Abraham and Pulisic to come in?
