Fair enough it’s a derby but certainly doesn’t feel like it on the pitch. Both teams seemed to be sparing with each other. It’s been a decent start from Everton although they went silent. Liverpool however have dominated we could say but haven’t took their chances. They haven’t come out of the blocks as many of us expected they lacked aggressiveness unless you count Sadio Mane’s sprint before the kickoff. I do think Naby Keita impose himself on the game…just as half time approaches. Liverpool need to get him on the ball more in second half and hopefully can create a chance starting from him. I do believe the 20 minutes both teams were still trying things out.Liverpool seemed rusty for me you can see the impact of Mo Salah not being on the pitch.

There’s been minutes where the Liverpool side have been the better side but The passes or chances that Liverpool have created lack a bit of quality they don’t seem to have that deadly finish they are also missing Andy Robertson. I must say Everton are defending alright and it suits Everton that they are doing well defensively however they need to finish and start attacking. Minamino good player but not seeing it right now he needs to offer more. My question is will Salah come on? Will Richarlison Score? We will see in the second half!
